Start early to explore notable sites on Panglao Island by bicycle. Begin your tour at St. Agustin Church and its watchtower in the heart of the población, where you can enjoy stunning sea views. Next, visit the Shell Museum, which features rare seashells from around the world, including those from Balicasag Island like the ‘gloria maris.’ Cycle for another 30 minutes to reach Hinagdanan Cave on the opposite side of the island. This underground cave has a small freshwater lagoon and was used by locals as a hideout from the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII. Finally, head to South Farm, a 'farm-to-table' project developed during the pandemic. At the farm, interact with animals, watch craft demonstrations, and then return to your resort.
