Hotel Aateli Lakeside

This idyllic hotel is located by Lake Nuas in the village of Vuokatti, some 40 minute drive from Kajaani Airport. Choose to stay in the hotel room or the more recently added two-bedroom apartments (please contact us for details).

The hotel has a total of 16 comfortable rooms with either a lake view or courtyard view. There are 11 are double rooms, 3 family rooms (which can accommodate 4 persons), 1 Junior suite and 1 Suite with its own sauna. Rooms are en suite and have LCD tv, mini-bar, hairdryer etc.

The apartments are contemporary and come with a fully-fitted kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and sauna. Lake view apartments are slightly larger and include a terrace with lake views, whereas the Hill view apartments offer a forest view.

Hotel facilities include a gym, private beach and swimming, free wireless internet access, ski storage space, tennis court, mini golf course, spacious saunas and outdoor pool, café and a la carte restaurant with magnificent views to the lake.

In winter you can also unwind and warm up after a busy day of activities in one of the hotel’s three saunas. At least one of the Saunas is heated every day. If you are travelling with a family or want privacy, saunas can also be booked for private use. The hotel also has a special sauna menu with food and drinks if you want to make an evening out of it. One of the saunas is a unique panoramic sauna Honkalinna with an outdoor pool open year around – while bathing you can admire the view to the lake and sky, and if you are lucky maybe even catch Northern Lights!

Please note that we have been informed by the hotel that their restaurant and lobby bar is open on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8am to 10pm. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays but lobby bar will remain open from 8am to 8pm for breakfast and light snacks. There are a few restaurants within 10-20 minute walk or quick taxi-ride away.
