Hagi Honjin

Hagi Honjin is located on a hillside overlooking the historic city of Hagi, around 10 minutes' walk from Shoin Shrine and less than a kilometre from Shokasonjuku Academy. Hagi Castle, Hagi Uragami Museum and the city centre are also within easy reach. The traditional ryokan is known for its extensive hot spring facilities, with 14 indoor and outdoor baths fed by natural mineral-rich onsen water sourced from deep underground. Facilities include a sauna, foot bath, restaurant serving seasonal cuisine and buffet breakfast, games room and bicycle hire. A shuttle service operates to the Okuhagi Observation Deck, where guests can enjoy panoramic views across Hagi and the Sea of Japan while soaking their feet in an outdoor foot bath.
