Ringstad Sjohus

This stunning harbour-front guesthouse, which translates to The House on the Outside, is found in the town of Bo in the Vesteralen region of Norway.

The guesthouse offers a wrap-around veranda which provides spectacular views of the mountain wilderness that surrounds the apartments and the peaceful blue ocean.

There is an on-site seafood restaurant serving up authentic and local dishes, as well as a BBQ area and children’s playground.

The gracious hosts offer a large selection of activities for their guests to enjoy both at sea and on land. There are motorboats and kayaks for hire as well as photography tours. Ringstad Sjohus offers a wide variety of hotel rooms, traditional holiday houses ,and apartments to meet the needs of their discerning guests during their stay in Norway. Each apartment is rustically decorated with wooden furnishings and all have free WiFi. 

Standard Rooms
24 newly built (2021) rooms which boast private en-suite bathrooms and spectacular views of the waterfront. Each room comes with a king bed or two twins, comfortable seating area, fridge, hairdryer, mini-bar and tea & coffee making facilities.

Holiday Apartments

There are 5 modern apartments available which all feature a living room with seating area, a private bathroom with shower and kitchen facilities. These apartments can accommode up to 5 people each and overlook the quiet Ringstad harbour with stunning views of the Eidsfjord or the mountains. 

Nordlands House

This small and cosy house offers guests spectacular views over the harbour and fjord from its dining room, living room and the terrace. The house has 2 bedrooms both with double beds, as well as a couch. There is a living room, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a bathroom with shower.

Bjornhuset

This cosy little Nordland house has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 5 single beds) and can comfortably sleep up to 7 people, making it ideal for small groups and families. The bathroom is new and there is an extra toilet, fully equipped kitchen, living room with dining area and fireplace and TV. The house is designed with traditional furnishing, has its own outdoor garden area  and is located close to Ringstad harbour.

Blastua (the Blue House)

The Blue House is situated on the hill in Ringstad with views over the harbour and fjord, and its own small garden. The house has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a fireplace and a dining area, as well as a small bathroom with shower.

Butikken

The nice traditional fisherman cabin "Butikken" provides 4 bedrooms and 10 beds, so it is perfectly suitable for a group or a big family. It has got a small kitchen (fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher), a living room with dining area, one private bathroom with shower and an extra WC. The house is situated directly in the Ringstad harbour and has a spectacular view of the fjord.
