Continental Forum Sibiu

Set in the centre of Sibiu, Continental Forum Sibiu is a four-star hotel within easy walking distance of the city’s historic Old Town. The Great Square is around 700 metres away, making this a convenient base for exploring Sibiu’s medieval streets, churches, museums and cafés on foot.

The hotel occupies a historic building dating from 1912, on a site with a long tradition of hospitality. Over the years the property has been known by several names, including Habermann, Bulevard and Europe, before becoming Continental Forum in 2007. Today it combines its historic setting with comfortable contemporary accommodation.

Continental Forum Sibiu has 130 rooms, four suites and a Presidential Suite. Standard Rooms are the lead-in category, measuring approximately 24m² and available with either a double bed or twin beds. Rooms include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, bathrobes and slippers, with bathrooms featuring either a bath or shower.

Deluxe Rooms are also around 24m² and offer additional touches including a coffee machine and minibar, with selected rooms enjoying views towards the city or mountains. Family Rooms and larger suites are also available for those wanting additional space.

Dining

The hotel’s Balkan Bistro serves international dishes alongside flavours influenced by the wider Balkan region, with an outdoor courtyard available for dining during the warmer months. Breakfast is served each morning, and the hotel also has a popular pastry and coffee shop.

Continental Forum Sibiu is well placed for discovering the historic centre on foot, with the Great Square approximately seven minutes away. From here, explore Piața Mare and Piața Mică, cross the famous Bridge of Lies and wander through the streets and passageways of one of Transylvania’s most attractive medieval cities.
