Schuster Boarding House

Set on a quiet street in Brașov’s historic centre, Schuster Boarding House is an intimate boutique hotel occupying a carefully restored building dating from 1914. Piața Sfatului, the Black Church and the cobbled streets of the Old Town are all within easy walking distance. Inside, original features such as exposed brickwork and timber beams are combined with stylish contemporary furnishings, giving the property plenty of individual character.

Accommodation ranges from Double Standard and Double Executive Rooms to more spacious Executive Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites and Premiere Suite Deluxe. Standard Rooms measure around 20m², while Executive Deluxe Rooms offer approximately 25m² and Junior Suites around 28m².

Rooms combine warm timber, exposed brick and contemporary design, with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, minibar, espresso machine, desk, hairdryer and slippers.

Dining

Breakfast is served each morning, while drinks can be enjoyed in the hotel's lounge or, at selected times, on the rooftop. There is no full-service restaurant, but the hotel's central location puts a wide choice of restaurants, cafés and bars within easy walking distance.

Schuster Boarding House is ideally positioned for exploring Brașov on foot. The historic centre and Piața Sfatului are just a few minutes away, with the Black Church, Strada Sforii and the city's medieval walls and bastions also nearby.

We particularly like the combination of a quiet location and easy access to the Old Town. The restored 1914 building gives Schuster much more personality than a conventional city hotel, while the rooftop is a lovely spot from which to appreciate Brașov's historic setting.
