This bespoke itinerary offers a unique blend of culture, history, and cuisine of Albania. From vibrant cities to charming villages, this tailor-made tour features hand-picked boutique farm-stays and fresh, organic farm-to-table cuisine.

With influences from the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Albania’s culinary heritage is rich with dishes such as byrek, a savoury pastry filled with cheese or meat, and tavë kosi, a lamb and yogurt casserole. Albania's coastal proximity ensures an abundance of fresh seafood, whilst olives, quinces, walnuts and plums ripen during hot summer months. The tradition of "besa," promoting generous hospitality, is deeply embedded in Albanian culture, making every meal an opportunity for sharing and celebration.

DAY 1
FLY TO TIRANA
Mrizi i Zanave

Arrive in Tirana and meet your private driver/guide at the airport. Transfer to the village of Fishte and check in to Mrizi i Zanave Agrotourism Hotel. After some time for relaxation, enjoy a farm tour showcasing the local produce. In the evening, delight in a dinner featuring fresh, local ingredients at the hotel's renowned restaurant. (D)

DAY 2
SHKODER
Rozafa Castle

After breakfast, head to Shkoder, a city rich in cultural and historical heritage. Visit Rozafa Castle, perched on a rocky hill with views over three rivers. Explore the vibrant city below, including the Venice Art Mask Factory and the beautiful Franciscan Church. Enjoy a serene boat ride, taking in the natural beauty of wildflowers and water lilies. Return to Fishte to participate in the farm's culinary workshops, followed by wine tasting and dinner featuring farm-fresh products. (B,D)

FISHTE TO ROSHNIK
Berat

This morning depart for Berat, stopping in the coastal town of Durres to explore its old city and Roman Amphitheatre. Savour a delicious fresh seafood lunch before continuing to the UNESCO town of Berat, known as “The Town of Thousand Windows.” Here, visit the Mangalemi and Gorica quarters, the upper fortress, and the Iconographic Museum Onufri. Late afternoon continue to the village of Roshnik for wine tasting at Pupa Winery and enjoy dinner at Alpeta Agrotourism. (B,L,D)

DAY 4
ROSHNIK
Alpeta Agrotourism

Spend the day touring the farm in Roshnik, exploring vineyards, fields of olive trees fields, and tasting seasonal produce. Experience a unique wine tasting; The Alpeta winery is the cornerstone of Alpeta Agrotourism. The family successfully cultivated the rare white grape varietal called puls. Over time raki production was added, with the distillery also serving as the restaurant at Alpeta’s Winery. Enjoy a lunch featuring freshly picked farm products. Notable dishes include those cooked in the saç, a traditional method using a large copper pan heated by the embers of an open fire. In the afternoon, take a walk around Roshnik Lakes and participate in a cooking class with Alpeta’s Chef. Relax and enjoy dinner featuring your culinary creations. (B,L,D)

ROSHNIK TO VOSKOPOJE
Ohrid trout

This morning depart for Tushemisht, a small village on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Here, enjoy a lunch featuring Koran fish, known as Ohrid trout – an endemic species found in the lake. Continue to Voskopoje, a cultural centre since 1330 which once had the only printing press in the Ottoman Balkans, outside of Istanbul. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax before dinner. VOSKOPOJE
Traditional Albanian meal

Today enjoy a relaxing morning with the ladies at the hotel’s restaurant learning how to make Lakror, a traditional Albanian pie. Enjoy lunch featuring the dishes you made. In the afternoon, explore the village on a guided walk, visiting two historic churches with insights from a local priest. Dinner will be at a local farmhouse, offering an authentic Albanian experience. (B,L,D)

VOSKOPOJE TO TIRANA
Korce

Drive to Tirana with a stop in Korce, the birthplace of Albania's literary and artistic identity. Visit the National Museum of Medieval Art and tour the oldest brewery in Albania, famous for its Korca Beer. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Nano Resort, renowned for its high-quality olive oil. Continue to Tirana for an evening panoramic tour and dinner. (B,L,D)
