Travel to Indochina on this group tour and discover Vietnam and Cambodia, two countries boasting colourful cities, friendly locals and fascinating architecture. Journey from Hanoi, with its wide French colonial boulevards and labyrinthine back streets to the limestone karst formations of Halong Bay. Continue south to the historic city of Hue located on the Perfume River before driving over the Hai Van Pass to the ancient merchant port of Hoi An with its sweeping beach and pretty night markets bedecked with many colourful lanterns. Discover Ho Chi Minh City, the bustling, metropolitan heart of the country with lively nightlife and busy streets before journeying to Cambodia to explore the capital Phnom Penh and iconic Angkor Wat.
Drive by minibus 170km to Vietnam's most spectacular natural wonder, Halong Bay. Board a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and these famous emerald waters. Enjoy a seafood lunch as well as a swim (weather permitting). Overnight on Junk. (B,L,D)
Spend this morning cruising through the waters of the Bay. Brunch will be served on board before returning to Hanoi in the afternoon. Transfer to Hanoi airport and take the short flight south to Hue. Land and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. (B)
The morning is at leisure before joining with those travellers who took the overnight train for lunch with some local specialties in a local restaurant. This afternoon head out on a half-day tour of the Hue Citadel and Royal Antique Museum. (B,L)

An early start today. You will be transferred to the bus station for the journey into Cambodia ending at Phnom Penh. On arrival meet your guide and transfer to your hotel to check-in. Overnight Phnom Penh. (B)
In the morning visit some of the capital's most impressive sites including the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda containing the Emerald Buddha statue and the Royal Palace. In the afternoon transfer to the bus station and take the bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, which is your base for exploring the ancient temples of Angkor. This amazing ruined city, built between the 9th and 13th centuries, deep in the Cambodian jungle is spread out over 60 square miles, scattered with walled cities and magnificent stone temples, sculptures, causeways and reservoirs. On arrival in Siem Reap you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (B)
