Set between two vast lakes joined by rapids, quirky Tampere is renowned for its fresh, innovative cuisine and its many regenerated industrial factories, that now house quirky museums, boutique shops, lively pubs and cafes. During summer’s light evenings head over to the sauna and restaurant Kuuma, located in the heart Tampere. Here, enjoy the two large saunas but don’t forget to take a dip in the ice-cold waters of Pyhäjärvi lake in their very own pool! At Regent we love a Lenin Museum or statue and much to our delight we discovered a Lenin Museum right here in Tampere. Housed in the Worker’s Hall of Tampere, where Lenin and Stalin met for the first time in 1905!
