This is one of our favourite places to stay when on an Azores holiday.
Set in an abandoned village with its grey stone cottages, cobbled paths and stone walls, Teotonia and Carlos Silva have rebuilt these cottages into various self-catering apartments. They have cosy cottages for 2 persons and larger cottages for 4 and 6 persons. All cottages are rustic in design and have a wood fire inside.
They have their own garden and a bbq pit outside. Although set up for self-catering, there is a lovely restaurant on site serving breakfast and dinner.
Just be aware that there are very uneven cobbled paths to the cottages, but help is on hand for the luggage.
