Laban Rata Resthouse

The Laban Rata Resthouse is the main accommodation near the peak of Mount Kinabalu. The lodge offers basic accommodation in heated dormitories with common bathrooms and toilets.

There are also a few private rooms available and the lodge is able to accommodate roughly 75 people.

The Resthouse also houses the only restaurant on the mountain. Sitting 3,272 metres above sea level in Kinabalu National Park, the lodge offers great views of the surrounding area, cool mountain air and a quiet atmosphere.
