Lumo Resort

Located in a peaceful rural setting in Kuusamo, around 10 minutes from Kuusamo Airport and approximately 20 minutes from Ruka Ski Resort, Lumo Resort offers easy access to the region's forests, lakes and year-round outdoor activities. The resort sits away from built-up areas, making it a good base for viewing the northern lights in winter and enjoying the midnight sun during summer.

Accommodation

Lumo Resort has 16 glass-roofed cabins, each designed to maximise views of the surrounding landscape. Accommodation features contemporary Nordic interiors, panoramic windows, private bathrooms and kitchenettes. Guests can choose from Aurora Rooms, Aurora Spa Rooms, which include a private outdoor hot tub, and the larger Aurora Suites.

Dining & Facilities

The resort's restaurant serves breakfast and seasonal dishes prepared with local ingredients. Facilities include a traditional Finnish sauna, outdoor hot tubs, a reindeer enclosure and access to a range of self-guided outdoor activities, including snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, with guided experiences available throughout the year.
