This is because excursions, rent of winter clothes and buffet meals on full board are included, whilst staying in delightful Lappish-style accommodation.

Located on the southern shores of Lake Inari in the depths of Finnish Lapland, Nangu Wilderness Hotel is a perfect retreat for couples or groups of friends. They have 18 Wilderness Rooms and 5 Superior Rooms with Panorama Window.

All rooms are decorated in a rustic wilderness style, with the traditional wooden log walls. Upgrade to their superior rooms (with or without sauna), each room has its own private entrance and a panorama window facing Lake Inari, offering great views and the chance to catch sight of the northern lights from the comfort of your own room.

NANGU PANORAMA LOG CABINS (sleeps 2)

These semi-detached log cabins offer a taste of Arctic luxury to those staying here. The log cabins have one bedroom with a comfy king-size bed, an ensuite shower and private sauna. The living room has an interior log burner and a kitchenette - perfect for cosy evenings in, after winter adventures out in the Lappish nature. There is also a large panorama window -  useful for spotting the elusive northern lights.

These atmospheric log cabins have one bedroom with a double king-size bed and an ensuite shower.
