Lyngen Experience Lodge

Set on the edge of the Arctic Ocean in the heart of the Lyngen Alps, Lyngen Experience Lodge is a secluded retreat surrounded by fjords, rugged peaks and some of Northern Norway’s most spectacular scenery.

With Tromsø less than two hours away, its remote location offers an ideal base for experiencing the Arctic away from the city, with activities ranging from whale watching and Northern Lights excursions to hiking, skiing and dog sledding.

The intimate lodge has a welcoming, homely feel, with the fjord and mountains providing a dramatic backdrop from the shared living areas. After a day outdoors, guests can unwind in the sauna or outdoor Jacuzzi, or take a refreshing dip in the Arctic Ocean.

Room Options

The lodge has nine double rooms, sleeping up to 18 guests in total. Each room has a private bathroom, while the shared living room offers expansive views across the fjord.

Restaurants & Bars

The restaurant focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with seafood often taking centre stage alongside vegetables and produce from the region. The lodge also has a bar serving Norwegian and local spirits.
