Tour Itinerary
Fly to Tromsø and transfer to the city centre before checking in to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore. Why not visit the Arctic Cathedral? Or explore the Polar Museum and ride the Fjellheisen cable car for panoramic views of the city and surrounding fjords. Don't miss the Arctic-alpine Botanical Garden, the northernmost in the world. Tromsø’s vibrant cultural scene includes summer festivals and Sami culture experiences. Lastly, take a fjord cruise to marvel at the stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Free morning before your transfer to Lyngen Expereince Lodge. This afternoon, join a bike excursion. Experience Lyngen from the bicycle seat, cycling from the cabin out into the fields. The tour goes from the main road onto dirt roads, which allows you to discover wonderful places. (B,D)
Visit the bluest lake in the world. This is a trip in relatively easy terrain, surrounded by a landscape you won't forget. After a short drive to Sør-Lenangen, at the foot of Lenangsbreen, walk four kilometres to the lake. Refreshments are served, while you enjoy the sight of the steep mountainsides plunging into the intensely blue water. Tempted to take a dip? The ice-cold water is never more than four degrees! A 20-minute drive from the cabin, discover Lake Jægervatnet - a perfect place for kayaking. Paddle to a suitable campsite by the lake. Surrounded by fantastic mountains, set up camp and enjoy the view. A small fire is set up to accompany the picnic lunch with refreshments. Afterwards, paddle back. (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer back to Tromsø and check in for the final night of your Norwegian break. (B)
