Hotel Epoque

Hotel Epoque is an elegant five-star boutique hotel tucked away on a quiet street beside Cișmigiu Park in central Bucharest. Opened in 2010, its French neoclassical façade and interiors inspired by the Neo-Romanian style reference the period when Bucharest was known as ‘Little Paris’. A member of Relais & Châteaux since 2018, this intimate all-suite hotel is within walking distance of the Romanian Athenaeum, National Museum of Art and many of the capital’s central sights.

Room options

The hotel has 45 individually designed suites, all offering generous living and sleeping space. Junior Suites are the lead-in category and measure approximately 35–40m², while Executive, Deluxe and Grand Executive Suites provide additional space. Larger Luxury Suites include a separate living room and kitchenette, while the Cișmigiu and Epoque VIP Suites offer the hotel’s most spacious accommodation.

Suites include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, safe, pillow menu, bathrobes and slippers. Guests also have complimentary access to the hotel spa.

Dining

L’Atelier is Epoque’s fine-dining restaurant, where contemporary cuisine draws on Romanian ingredients and produce sourced from local farmers, fishermen and specialist producers. An extensive wine selection places particular emphasis on carefully chosen Romanian and international wines. The hotel also has an elegant bar and lounge and a terrace for drinks and dining during warmer weather.

Location & Experiences

Epoque enjoys a peaceful position close to Cișmigiu Park while remaining within easy reach of central Bucharest. The Romanian Athenaeum, National Museum of Art, Romanian National Opera and Old Town can all be reached on foot, while nearby Izvor metro station provides easy access to other parts of the city.

The Epoque Spa features a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, sensory showers and fitness area. Massages and spa treatments can also be booked.
