Vila Planinka is a unique luxury boutique hotel set in the unspoilt alpine valley of Jezersko, an area known for its healing climate, pristine mountain air, and striking natural scenery.

Redefining the concept of luxury, the villa focuses on sustainability, simplicity, and a deep connection with nature, using exclusively local natural materials and operating with minimal environmental impact.

Room options

The hotel offers 22 individually designed rooms and suites, ranging from Superior Rooms to Deluxe Suites. Each space has its own character and enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valley. Some rooms feature balconies and cosy indoor nooks for relaxation. To encourage rest and mindfulness, rooms are free from electronic devices, with Wi-Fi available only in the lobby or activated in rooms upon request.

Dining

The villa’s restaurant is a true highlight, having been awarded a Michelin Plate. Menus evolve with the seasons and are inspired by nature, using carefully sourced local ingredients. Dining is complemented by an extensive wine list featuring over 150 Slovenian wines, with a particular focus on orange wines from sustainable vineyards.

Location & Experiences

Guests enjoy complimentary access to the wellness centre, which includes Finnish and infrared saunas, with massage treatments available at an additional cost. A range of curated experiences is available, including electric bike hire, wine tastings, and guided hiking tours into the surrounding alpine landscape.
