Arrive Hanoi. Transfer to the hotel and check-in for 2 nights. The rest of the day is free to spend at leisure.

This morning, enjoy a captivating half day city tour of Hanoi. Visit the famous One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and the bustling Old Quarter. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon. (B)
DAY 4
HANOI TO HALONG BAY
HANOI TO HALONG BAY
Drive 170km to Vietnam's most spectacular natural wonder, Halong Bay. Board a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and these famous emerald waters. Enjoy a seafood lunch as well as a swim (weather permitting). Overnight on Junk. (B,L,D)
DAY 5
HALONG BAY TO HUE
HALONG BAY TO HUE

Spend this morning cruising through new waters. Brunch will be served on board before returning to Hanoi in the afternoon. Transfer to Hanoi airport and fly south to Hue. Land and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. (B)

DAY 6

HUE

Morning free at leisure. Meet with those passengers who took the overnight train and enjoy lunch with some local specialties in a local restaurant. This afternoon head out on a half-day tour of the Hue Citadel and Royal Antique Museum. (B,L)

This morning enjoy a boat trip on the Huong River and discover Thien Mu Pagoda. In the afternoon drive to Hoi An and explore this historic merchant town. Highlights include the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and an ancient merchant house. Stroll the vibrant riverside market which is be-decked with many colourful lanterns. (B)

Enjoy a free day to explore the ancient town. (B)
DAY 9
HOI AN TO HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)

This morning is at leisure. This afternoon transfer to Da Nang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival transfer to the hotel for 2 nights. The afternoon is free at leisure. (B)

Spend the morning exploring the city on a half-day tour. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple and the bustling Binh Tay market. The afternoon is at leisure to relax, explore further or enjoy some last minute shopping. (B)

Transfer to the airport for the departure flight. (B)
