Upon arrival into Vágar airport collect the hire car and a map and set off on your exciting Faroe Islands adventure. Today, perhaps take the ferry to Mykines, the westermost of the 18 islands and teeming with bird life. Be sure to hike to Mykineshólmur, a challenging but rewarding route to a scenic lighthouse.
