The Finnish Archipelago, with over 20,000 islands, is one of the most amazing and unique regions in Finland. Embark on an unforgettable journey along the famous Archipelago trail by e-bike and hop from island to island using local ferries. Begin your adventure in the medieval town of Turku, make your way to three of the largest islands of the Archipelago - Nauvo, Korpo, and Houtskär - immerse yourself in the charm of little harbour villages and enjoy delightful stays in small island boutique hotels with private facilities.
Please note that this is a self-guided holiday.
Fly from the UK to Helsinki and take the train to Turku (the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours*). Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation by taxi and check in for an overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, collect your e-bike and prepare to ride southeast out of the city. A fine system of bike lanes keeps you out of the traffic as you head into the archipelago. Take a short ferry ride to the island of Nauvo (also known as Nagu) and spend your first night by the sea in the beautiful Finnish archipelago. (B)
