Arrive in Hanoi and drive to the Silk Path Hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Enjoy a city tour of Hanoi which takes in sights including the Ho Chi Minh complex and mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and Long Bien Bridge. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese coffee on the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake. (B,L)
This morning drive to Halong Bay and board the Prince Junk boat. Enjoy lunch while cruising towards secluded Bai Tu Long Bay. Enjoy kayaking and swimming or explore the limestone caves. Return to the boat for a sunset cocktail and dinner onboard. (B,L,D)
In the morning, experience the fresh air and gentle bay breeze. Cruise through Bai Tu Long, visiting the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng to gain insights into daily life here. Return to the dock, reaching Ha Long around noon. Your tour guide will pick you up from the wharf, and we'll head back to Hanoi. Expect to arrive in Hanoi late afternoon. This afternoon, ascend to Lech village in the hilly mountains of Thanh Kim Commune, home to the Red Dao people. Explore a local house, meet hospitable Red Dao hosts, and experience their daily life. Red Dao women, known for unique customs, wear vibrant traditional clothing and excel in handmade embroidery and basket weaving. Visit the village's school for insights into education in the Northern Mountains of Vietnam. On your return to Topas Ecolodge, traverse small trails past rice terraces and a suspension bridge, with your guide sharing insights into local farming practices. (B,L)
Explore the rich textile traditions of Vietnam's 54 ethnic minority communities, with a focus on the captivating designs of the Red Dao and Black H'Mong. Join a full-day textile workshop in Lao Chai Village, led by skilled Black H'Mong artisans, where you'll learn about hemp production, batik design, and natural dyeing with indigo. While not covering all 41 design steps, you'll discover the meaning behind key H'Mong folk art symbols. The experience concludes with a traditional H'Mong lunch before returning to Topas Ecolodge. This experience is also paired with a gentle 30-minute hike to Lao Chai in the morning as well as an easy 1-hour walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van Village later on, where the car will pick you up. This workshop is suitable for all ages and skill levels.
After breakfast, check out and visit the Ethnic Minority market, where you'll encounter numerous "Flower H'Mong" people, a prominent ethnic group in the Sapa and Bac Ha regions. The vibrant and captivating traditional costumes of the H'Mong people make the market a popular attraction, drawing visitors despite the challenging drive from Sapa. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon, check in at the hotel, and enjoy a leisurely evening. (B)

This morning start the four-hour drive to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Arrive and check-into the Forest Floor Lodge and enjoy lunch. Enjoy an afternoon walk through the park to discover the flora and fauna. After dinner, enjoy a night drive for further wildlife spotting. (B,L,D)
Rise early to the sounds of the forest and take a short speed-boat ride to Tien Island. Learn more about the rehabilitation work being done here. After lunch drive into the forest and hike to Crocodile Lake to enjoy a boat ride - there is the chance to spot some crocodiles! (B,L,D)
After breakfast go for a short hike before being transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City and the Liberty Central Saigon Centre Hotel. Day at leisure. (B)
Drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and explore the series of tunnels and learn about how the Vietcong lived in the tunnels for extended periods. Return to the city and enjoy a city tour which includes the historic Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House and Reunification Palace. (B,L)
