Thoi Son Island, located in Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province, is accessible by a 45-minute boat ride on the Mekong River from Mytho City. Since 1990, it has transformed into a tourist resort, known for its traditional houses surrounded by fruit-bearing trees and small restaurants in bonsai tree gardens. Visitors can row down canals lined with coconut and water willow trees, stroll along stone streets, and enjoy tea in orchard gardens while listening to folk music. The island offers a glimpse into ancient architecture with houses like the Eight House, featuring wooden posts and feng shui-inspired roof purlins.
