Zabljak is a small mountain town and the best base for a visit to Durmitor National Park. The park features Montenegro’s highest peak, the 2523m Bobotov Kuk. There are many smaller peaks to conquer and various glacial lakes to walk around, the largest being the Black Lake offering a 3.5km walk around its circumference. Nearby the Tara River Canyon boasts Europe’s longest zip-line and thrilling white water rafting.
