Northern Lights Village

Located in a quiet spot on the fringes of a vast wilderness, the Northern Lights Village offers spacious and cosy Aurora Cabins.

Each Aurora Cabin features a king-sized bed, wooden walls for total privacy and a laser-heated glass roof that allows you to snuggle up and watch the northern lights flickering high above you without having to venture outside.

The hotel is only 350m from the nearby town of Saariselkä where you'll find a supermarket, a spa, restaurants and even a bowling alley. There are plenty of activities on offer at the hotel itself, such as aurora hunting, husky sledding, snowmobiling and snow-shoeing, all of which depart from the hotel yard.

A real treat at the Northern Lights Village is the reindeer paddock, where friendly reindeer come to eat and meet guests every morning. In the evening dine in the Kota restaurant, which offers first-rate Lappish cuisine made from tasty, locally-sourced ingredients.
