Bassac Cruise

Travel comfortably through the Mekong Delta on a converted traditional rice barge. The Bassac fleet consists of three vessels, each providing distinctive accommodations for those seeking to explore the natural wonders of the Mekong Delta. The two newer vessels of Bassac maintain a traditional rice barge design, exuding an authentic charm. Although larger than the original R/V Bassac I, they offer comparable amenities. Cabins are equipped with soundproofed partitions and double glazing to shield passengers from the river's ambient noises, and these partitions also serve as heat insulation to impede the spread of fire in emergencies. Immediate access to the outdoors is ensured.

All cabins are air-conditioned, employing split systems to guarantee a peaceful night's sleep. The boat's equipment operates quietly, even those running throughout the night. The main deck's stern, spanning 500 square feet, hosts the restaurant, and the bar can be fully opened to the outside, providing an ideal setting for evening enjoyment. The upper deck, covering 1500 square feet, offers mostly shaded areas. The front is designed for sunbathing and relaxation on sunbathing couches, while the rear bar invites you to enjoy a drink outdoors as the sun sets.
