After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your day starts at 8am with a bangka boat trip to Apo Island. Just a 40-minute boat ride from the resort, Apo Island boasts lush coral reefs teeming with turtles and colorful fish, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling, free diving, and scuba diving. Beginners and experienced divers alike will find something to enjoy, including a shallow turtle sanctuary near the shores where you can observe turtles grazing. Activities are subject to weather and ocean conditions, but rest assured that the boat will wait until everyone is onboard. Relax, take in the scenery, and immerse yourself in the island lifestyle. A quick 20-minute boat ride from Bais Pier will take you to the stunning white sandbar of Manjuyod. From here, you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the mountainous Negros and neighbouring Cebu Island.

During the excursion, you'll have the opportunity to relax on the boat and sandbar while enjoying a picnic lunch provided by the resort. Additionally, Bais borders the Tañon Strait, a natural habitat for several dolphin species. Keep an eye out for Pan Tropical Spotted Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins, Long Snouted Spinner Dolphins, and other rare species that may make an appearance during your boat ride. (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, take a short 30-minute drive to the small mountain town of Valencia. Here, you can explore the renowned Valencia Hot Springs and Pulang Bato Waterfalls. The hot springs are fed directly from the mountain into man-made pools, offering hot and slightly sulphurous waters known for their medicinal properties. After your soak, head to Pulang Bato Waterfalls, named after the red rocks surrounding it, for a refreshing cool-off experience. (B)

You might also consider additional excursions to explore Dumaguete further, such as visiting Twin Lakes or discovering more waterfalls. If you happen to be here on a Sunday, we recommend a visit to Valencia Market to engage with locals. Alternatively, you can simply relax by the beach or the resort's pool. (B)
