Upon arrival into Oslo Airport take the express train into the city centre and make your way to your hotel for check in. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore Norway's exciting capital.

Vigeland Park, filled with over 200 sculptures, is also well worth a visit on a sunny day. (B)

Pass by tiny fjord-side villages and then the summer houses belonging to Bergen city dwellers as you near your destination. Upon arrival into Bergen, make your own way to your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to explore.

We recommend taking a stroll through Bryggen, Bergen's atmospheric Hanseatic old town located on the harbour front, where you can also find some of the freshest seafood around at the Torget Fish Market. There are plenty of museums to captivate your attention, or escape the city on the funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for sweeping views of the fjord-side city and the seven mountains that famously surround it.
