UNESCO World Heritage Tour in the Philippines

14 Day Tour, from £4795 per person

The UNESCO World Heritage Site Tour in the Philippines is a comprehensive 14-day journey that highlights key historical and cultural landmarks across the country. The tour begins in Manila with a visit to Intramuros, featuring Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and Casa Manila, all integral parts of the Spanish colonial past. Travellers will also explore modern Manila with visits to Makati’s business district, the American Cemetery, and several museums.

The trip continues to Banaue to view the famous Batad and Banga-an Rice Terraces, showcasing the ancient agricultural practices of the region. Following Banaue, the tour moves to Sagada, known for its unique hanging coffins and natural attractions like caves and waterfalls. In Vigan, experience the well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture of the Heritage Village.

The itinerary also includes a visit to Iloilo to explore historical towns and a tour of Guimaras Island, famous for its mangoes and scenic landscapes. The final leg of the journey takes you to Puerto Princesa, featuring the Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the longest navigable underground rivers in the world.

The itinerary includes select UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Philippines, but there’s so much more to explore. Consider extending your stay to enjoy a beach holiday in Coron or El Nido, both located within the Palawan UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Alternatively, visit Bohol to see the Chocolate Hills, part of the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark.
