The tour begins with a local Jeepney ride to the town market, followed by an hour-long drive to the Batad trek starting point. The challenging Batad trail features steep inclines and rocky paths, offering spectacular views of the rice terraces. Lunch is served at a local restaurant overlooking the terraces. Vigan, Ilocos Sur, is a Spanish settlement from the 15th century, known for its cobbled streets and horse-drawn carriages. The tour includes a kalesa ride through the Heritage Village, showcasing well-preserved stone houses (Bahay na Bato) and their period furniture.
If time allows, additional visits may include Juna Luna Shrine, Pagbuynayan (pot making), Syquia Mansion Museum, Plaza Salcedo, Burgos, St. Paul Cathedral, Palacio del Arzobispo, and Crisologo Mansion. The tour includes lunch. Return to the hotel for the rest of the day at leisure. (B,L)

After breakfast and checkout, a representative will transfer you to Manila domestic airport for your flight to Iloilo. Upon arrival, local representatives will meet you and take you on the Iloilo South Countryside Tour. This tour covers several towns: Oton, where you can visit the People's Amphitheater; Tigbauan, known for its Baroque Church and the Philippines’ first Jesuit boarding school; Guimbal, noted for its sweet mangoes and town plaza; and Miag-Ao, home to the 209-year-old Miag-Ao Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, begin a guided tour of Guimaras Island. Travel by outrigger boat to Jordan, then visit Balaan Bukid Shrine, which involves a short uphill trek to a viewpoint with views of Iloilo City. Continue to the Trappist Monastery, the only one in the country run by Trappist monks. The tour also includes a look at mango plantations, cashew trees, and other tropical fruit.
