Enjoy a free day in Krakow or pre-book an excursion outside the city. Visit the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine or travel to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Alternatively, explore Kazimierz, Krakow's historic Jewish district, with its synagogues, museums, cafes and restaurants. Visit the Galicia Jewish Museum or cross the Vistula to Oskar Schindler's former enamel factory. For something different, look out for the street art and murals found around Kazimierz and neighbouring Podgorze. (B)
