Pula is Istria’s largest city with its own international airport, making it a great starting point for any holiday taking in the Istria and Kvarner region.
Lying in the valley of seven hills, with amazing views of the Adriatic, Pula is cosmopolitan and jam packed with culture.
It’s a great town for exploring on foot and of course the highlight is the superb 1st century AD amphitheatre, known as the 'Arena', magnificently intact and located at the heart of the city. It dominates the streetscape and, in the summer, serves as a great venue for concerts and festivals.
Pula's beaches are located in Medulin, 8 km south outside of the city.
