Its interior style reflects the period when the ship was built. To travel on the Göta Canal is a fantastic way to spend your holiday, a serene journey through Sweden's picturesque countryside. Around the countless curves, new nature experiences await. Relax and unwind as the boat navigates the historic locks and passes charming villages, during which you enjoy lush forest and stunning lake views. The canal's calm waters make for a chilled adventure from start to finish.
Fly from the UK to Gothenburg and take the airport Flybussarna bus into the bustling city centre to check in for two nights. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore this exciting city.
Spend the day exploring Gothenburg. Why not hop-on, hop-off Gothenburg's sightseeing bus and boat, so you can easily get your bearings and explore? We recommend a visit to the Gothenburg Museum of Arts - one of the finest in Sweden. Visit the Volvo Museum by journeying through history from 1927 until present day and learn all about Volvo's history and heritage. Then give your taste buds a treat by sampling delicious ice creams and pastries at Kampanilen bakery on Karl Johansgatan. (B)

There will be daily information meetings held in three languages (Swedish, English and German) to let guests know what is going to happen during the day, information about the local sites and history, as well as provide practical information. A tour guide will be available throughout the cruise. Today, experience the first of the 58 narrow locks. (B,L,D)
As you glide past lush landscapes, charming villages and historic locks, enjoy the tranquil waters and picturesque views. Explore quaint towns and meet friendly locals. Today, why not consider a visit to one (or several) of the city's excellent museums, galleries or attractions? We highly recommend visiting the Fotografiska museum, the Royal Palace and the incredible Vasa Museum. Or, head to the top of SkyView to see the city from a unique perspective or enjoy the immersive exhibits at the Viking Museum. (B)

M/S Juno is the world’s oldest registered cruising ship, built at the Motala shipyard and launched in 1874. The ship has got 29 cabins on three decks. The dining room with a lounge is found on the middle deck (shelter deck) and the upper deck (bridge deck) offers a covered aft deck with a perfect view.
The cabins are tastefully decorated with beautiful fabrics and brass details. The size of the cabins is comparable to a smaller sleeping compartment on a train, but unlike the train, most guests are only in the cabin while sleeping. They are small and cosy, giving the guest an impression of how people once travelled. All cabins are on the outside and above the waterline and they have a washbasin with cold and hot water.
The M/S Juno has bunk beds in all double cabins with one exception, a Honeymoon cabin. This cabin has a 120-cm wide Queen sized bed and is situated on main deck. On the shelter deck and bridge deck, the cabins open onto the deck.
