This stunning fly-drive is ideal for those looking to be completely immersed in Norway's magical landscapes, while at the same time exploring some of the country's most impressive towns and cities. Cruise, embark on scenic rail journeys and hike through some of Norway's most breathtaking regions on this unique itinerary. 

Start in Oslo, Norway's vibrant capital, where you'll start and finish your fly-drive experience. Throughout, enjoy the freedom that the car offers you. Explore the rich coastal culture of Norway, passing through idyllic fishing villages, near impressive lighthouses and along narrow coastal paths, while bringing you close to the UNESCO-listed fjord- the Sognefjord. From Sognefjord in Flåm, ride the scenic Flamsbana rail journey to Myrdal Mountain station, situated at 867 metres above sea level.

DAY 1
FLY TO OSLO
Oslo city

Fly to Oslo and collect your E-Vehicle and drive to Oslo city. A representative will meet you and explain all the details regarding your EV car. Check-in to the hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day exploring Norway's capital city.

 

Overnight at the Radisson Blu Plaza or similar

 

Distance: 49km, 40 minutes

DAY 2
DRIVE TO FLAM
Flåm railway

After breakfast, start your drive towards Flåm. There will be ample opportunities to make a stop for lunch as well as charging up your car. On arrival into Flåm, take one of the most scenic rail journeys- Flamsbana. The train takes you from sea level at Sognefjord in Flåm  to Myrdal mountain station, situated at 867 metres above sea level. This train journey is breathtaking. Take the train back to Flåm where you can enjoy dinner at your hotel. (B,D)

DAY 3
FLAM TO BERGEN
Nærøyfjord

Start today with a fjord cruise through Nærøyfjord which is featured on UNESCO'S World Heritage List. A fjord cruise through this narrow and stunning fjord to Gudvangen will give you the memory of a lifetime. The cruise takes two hours. When you are ready, take a shuttle bus back to Flåm to pick up your car and start your drive to Bergen. Enjoy the stunning landscape along the way.

DAY 4
FREE TIME IN BERGEN
Bergen

Enjoy a free day in this vibrant city. A stroll through picturesque Bryggan with its iconic, tilted houses and concealed maze of wooden walkways is a must do for any visitor. When lunch time rolls around, the nearby Torget Fish Market is an excellent place to sample fresh seafood. We also recommend a ride up to the top of Mt. Fløyen on the Fløibanen funicular for sweeping views of the city.(B)

DAY 5
BERGEN TO EIDFJORD
Trolltunga

After breakfast start your journey back towards Oslo. We recommend you choose the road via Tysse to Eidfjord to experience the pure beauty of the Hardangerfjord. This is the fifth longest fjord in the world and the second largest in Norway. If you fancy stretching your legs and indulging in some hiking, you can hike to Trolltunga for one of the most striking (and photographed) views. If hiking is not for you, why not try your hand at kayaking or a RIB boat safari. Dinner and overnight in Eidfjord. (B,D)

Distance: 153km, two hours, 30 minutes

DAY 6
EIDFJORD TO OSLO
Oslo early evening

Time to head back to Oslo. On arrival, the day is free to explore. Oslo is famous for its green spaces and museums. Norway's capital is an energetic and modern hub which is easily explored by foot. Take a stroll along the city's harbour front and past the iconic Opera House or explore one of the many museums or art galleries on offer in the city (the National Museum and the Viking Ship Museum are both excellent options). Vigeland Park, filled with over 200 sculptures, is worth a visit . If shopping is your thing, why not take a walk along Karl Johans Street and indulge in its rich array of shops. (B)
