This route showcases some of the most spectacular natural landscapes of central Norway. Drive the celebrated and incredibly varied Hardangervidda National Scenic route, which crosses the biggest high mountain plateau in Northern Europe, passes Norway's most famous waterfall, Vøringsfossen, and ventures through the wild Måbødalen Valley.
Explore the majestic shores of the Hardangerfjord, the country's second largest fjord, where stops can be made at tiny villages as well as fruit or cider farms. Enjoy all of this and more with the freedom that a car offers to wander from the main path and see what waits to be discovered there.
