Tour Itinerary

Northern lights - Iceland

Arrive in Keflavik International airport and collect your car. Drive south along Route 1 towards the small town of Hvolsvöllur, where you will spend your first two nights. Located on the ring-road that encircles Iceland, it is the perfect location from which to explore the famous sites of this region. (180 Km)

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Iceland

With your hotel located within easy driving distance of the highlights of the south coast. Perhaps start with a stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where it’s possible to walk behind the gushing torrent of water, then drive back eastwards to discover Skógafoss waterfall and consider reaching Iceland’s southernmost village Vik, where the black sand beaches make for dramatic coastal views. In the evening, retreat back to your hotel and look out for the elusive northern lights. (B) (160 Km)

Hvammsvík Hot Springs - Iceland

Start the day by visiting the famous 'Golden Falls' - the Gullfoss waterfall. This stunning sight marks the limit of the highland shelf, where the Hvita river tumbles over the edge to the floor below. Explore the Geysir hot spring area, where Strokkur erupts every 10-15 minutes. In the afternoon, visit Þingvellir National Park. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this incredible site is remarkable for its geology. Continue towards West Iceland and reach the recently opened Hvammsvík Hot Springs to enjoy a relaxing dip on one of their eight geothermal pools. In the evening reach your accommodation in Borgarfjörður area and check in for two nights. (B) (345 Km)

Mt Kirkjufell - Iceland

Spend a full day exploring West Iceland - one of Iceland's most geologically diverse regions. Its natural wonders are a nearly exhaustive sampling of all that Iceland offers, ranging from slumbering volcanoes and majestic waterfalls to various flora and wildlife. Consider driving to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula passing by Borgarnes, a small town located on a peninsula on the shore of Borgarfjörður. Discover charming fishing towns and spot one of the most photographed mountains in Iceland, Mt Kirkjufell. (B) (375 Km)

Husafell Canyon Baths - Iceland

After breakfast, relax at the charming Husafell Canyon Baths soaking in their two geothermal pools, each with a spectacular view of the surrounding canyon, mountains and glaciers. In the afternoon, leave West Iceland to drive towards Reykjavik and en route perhaps stop at Deildartunguhver hot springs - the most powerful hot spring in Europe. In the evening, check in at your hotel in Reykjavik for two nights and get ready for a guided northern lights hunt by a super jeep. (B) (135 Km)

Sky lagoon - Iceland

Spend the morning exploring the shops, galleries and cafés of Reykjavík at leisure before being immersed in the Sky lagoon natural geothermal waters whilst enjoying incredible sights of the Atlantic Ocean, guaranteed by an unobstructed 70-metre 'infinity-edge' producing a visual effect that reveals an awe-inspiring and endless vista.
