Today pick up your car hire and start the road journey from Tallinn to Lääne County*. En route from Tallinn to Lääne County stop and discover the charming town of Haapsalu. Known for its stunning seaside promenade, grand bishop's castle and charming old wooden houses. In the past, the town was a closed military base, off-limits to outsiders, during the Soviet era. Nowadays, visitors can wander around and discover the abandoned military buildings and tunnels that are still standing from that time, including a large submarine base. Alternatively, you could opt to visit Pakri Peninsula, situated just outside of Paldiski, which boasts a range of natural landmarks, such as limestone cliffs, sea caves, and forests. Hiking trails are also available in the area, providing breathtaking views of the picturesque coastline.
Continue to Tallinn Airport and drop car off before flight back to the UK.
