Budva is often thought of as the livelier sister to refined Kotor but it is more than just a party town. Stari Grad (Old Town) is a perfectly preserved miniature Dubrovnik with a small and less intimidating set of city walls to climb. Outside of the old town, there are many beaches to while away a few hours on and a little further down the coast lies the renowned Sveti Stefan, an iconic islet which is home to a luxury Aman hotel and was once the playground of the rich and famous during the 1970s.
