Lake Skadar Holidays

The largest lake in the Balkans, magnificent Lake Skadar spans the borders of Montenegro and Albania and offers natural beauty in abundance. Virpazar is the main settlement in the Lake Skadar area and consists of a main square with a few restaurants (including some housed on boats) and many family-run vineyards and tasting cellars can be found nearby. Most boat trips depart from here and set sail along the water lily strewn Lake Skadar; one of Europe’s top bird habitats and one of Montenegro’s most scenic destinations.
