For us, the holiday was about the wildlife. Danum valley was amazing. The accommodation is superb and our guide, Akmal was terrific. He was friendly, patient and knowledgeable and we managed to see a mother orangutan and her baby, civets, red leaf monkeys, gibbons, macaques and many more. We really felt that we had experienced a rainforest.
