Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort & Spa

Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu is located roughly 45 minutes from Kota Kinabalu city on a broad stretch of white sand beach and surrounded by 400 acres of tropical forest.

The resort is comprised of 499 guestrooms and suites split between the Garden Wing and the smaller Ocean Wing. In the Garden Wing all rooms come with a private lanai or upper floor balconies, the Ocean Wing rooms offer private outdoor bathtubs on the balcony and sweeping views over the gardens or ocean. The Resort offers 2 free-form swimming pools, one in each wing, plus an outdoor Jacuzzi. There are a host of activities you can enjoy including sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, horse riding on the beach and cycling. There is a choice of dining outlets available ranging from the casual vibe of the Coffee Terrace to the award winning Indian restaurant, Naan. 

The Rasa Ria’s own 64-acre nature reserve is home to indigenous plant life and native wildlife including slow loris, Western Tarsiers and many species of birds.
