Set out from the resort to visit some of the remnants left behind by the fierce WWII fighting that took place in the Solomon Islands. You'll see a fully-intact US tank, Japanese bunker systems, and 140mm shore battery guns amongst many other fascinating relics of the war.

This morning take the 5 minute boat ride to Kennedy Island, named after John F. Kennedy. This small uninhabited island was where Kennedy and the rest of the crew of the PT109 swam to after their boat was wrecked by a Japanese destroyer.
Return to Fatboys Resort and spend the afternoon at leisure. (B,D)
Today involves a trip to Njari Island, often called the most significant marine ecological site in the Solomon Islands. It is entirely covered in trees, with just a small spit of sand at its eastern end. Fatboys Resort has special permission to run trips to the island, so you can snorkel, swim, or just enjoy hours on the beach in the sunshine. (B,D)
Today is a free day to spend as you wish, whether that is relaxing in the sun or taking advantage of the many activities the hotel can offer. Try out a dive or borrow the resort's kayaks, paddle boards or snorkel equipment. (B,D)
Transfer by plane to Seghe this morning. A resort boat will meet you and take you to Uepi Island Resort on paradisical Marovo Lagoon. With the rest of the day to fill as you please, why not head to the house reef for a spot of snorkelling? (B,L,D)
Get an early morning start to go for a 'manta snorkel', where the resort will endeavour to provide excellent manta ray viewing opportunities. Although this cannot be guaranteed, the manta rays do come to the area regularly to feed and attend a cleaning station.
Head back to the resort for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure, either exploring more of Marovo Lagoon or snorkelling on the fringing reef, full of exciting marine life. (B,L,D)
