Tour Itinerary
Fly from the UK to Kiruna and transfer to the ICEHOTEL to check in. Tonight will be spent in an exclusive, individually designed and sculpted thematic Art Suite ice room. A stay in one of these suites is truly a unique and once in a lifetime experience - come spring, they melt away, never to be replicated again!
During the day, luggage is stored safely in the Riverside Lobby, the warm building close to the ICEHOTEL. The ice beds are covered in a thick mattress which rests on a wooden base and is covered in reindeer hides and a thermal sleeping bag to ensure a cosy sleep.
You will be woken this morning with a hot cup of lingonberry juice at your bedside. Enjoy a relaxing sauna session and shower before breakfast. Then, head out on an exhilarating husky safari across the snowy plains. Delight in the freedom of being pulled by an energetic team of dogs, driven by your musher/guide. Enjoy a wilderness lunch before returning to the hotel and checking into your warm room. (B,L)
After breakfast, we recommend a visit to the Experience room followed by a self-guided tour of the ICEHOTEL and ICEHOTEL 365. Marvel at the spectacular ice-sculpted suites, designed and created by artists from all over the world. In the evening enjoy a thrilling snowmobile ride into the night-time wilderness where the northern lights shine brightest. Part way through the evening a stop will be made at a warm wilderness cabin where you will enjoy a two-course dinner. (B,D)
