Sörbyn Lodge & Glamping Escape
Escape to the idyllic wilderness of Swedish Lapland on this four day winter getaway. Sörbyn Lodge lies roughly one hour away from Luleå airport, close enough to be easily accessible but far enough to feel truly remote.
Enjoy two nights in a cosy log cabin and spend the days dog sledding and exploring the natural surroundings. Then, move to nearby Aurora Safari Camp for a special night of Arctic glamping, with toasty wood burners to ensure your Sámi Lavvu tent or cone room stays nice and warm.
Both locations are quite remote and far from light pollution, maximising the chances of witnessing a spectacular northern lights performance, so make sure to keep one eye to the sky once darkness falls.

Tour Itinerary
Fly to Luleå and transfer to Sörbyn Lodge, located in an idyllic patch of Lappish wilderness approximately 1 hour's drive from the airport. After checking the remainder of the day is free to explore the area.
No Lappish holiday is complete without a dog sledding experience. Start the day by meeting the enthusiastic dogs then speed off on a journey through a magic winter wonderland. Discover the pleasure of gliding through the white landscape with only the sound of the dogs’ paws against the snow. Tonight, indulge in a taste of Swedish Lapland during a delicious 3-course meal at the lodge’s restaurant, Kallkällan - renowned in the area for serving up some of the best local cuisine around. Take a short transfer to Aurora Safari Camp. The final part of the transfer will be by a sled pulled by a snowmobile—it’s the only way to get to the off-the-grid camp! Arrive and settle into the Sámi lavvu tent (or cone room) for a special night of Arctic glamping. Make use of the free fat bikes, kick sleds, snowshoes and cross-country ski equipment to explore the snowy wilderness all around. Don’t miss the chance to relax in the sauna, which is on a raft frozen into the lake. Why not try an evening experience in a hot air balloon giving you the chance to view the northern lights from a different perspective. (B,D)
After breakfast, the morning is free to relax at the camp before it's time for the transfer back to the Luleå Airport for the flight home. (B)
