Tallinn Winter City Break

4 Day Tour, from £695 per person

Tallinn’s vibrant capital makes an excellent choice for a weekend city break away from home and has lots to offer visitors all year round. In the winter, Tallinn’s medieval Old Town can be a magical wonderland of fresh snow and icy vistas.
On our Tallinn Winter City Break, we include an icy walk in a bog forest. Afterwards, warm up in one of the city's many cafes or spend some time taking in a museum or gallery. Explore the city and make the most of the included 24-hour Tallinn Card to gain free entry into over 40 museums and attractions, travel free on public transport and receive discounts in shops and restaurants.
For those of you who like a Christmas Market, what better setting than Tallinn's medieval Town Hall Square? It is held last week of November to the 1st week of January. Browse stalls selling wooden decorations and all manner of delicious local food and drink.
This city break is based on spending 3 nights at the popular St Barbara Hotel, but there are plenty of other alternative hotel options to meet every taste including:

Head out of the city to the stillness of an Estonian forest and bog. The Estonians take their bogs very seriously and they have been part of their culture for centuries. Get off the beaten track on this tour and hike around bog pools on wooden platforms, admire wildlife, climb the watch-tower and listen to mysterious stories and legends the tour guides tell about the bogs. Bog-shoe hike is doable all year round and becomes a snow-shoe hiking tour during snowy winter months. (B)
