Tour Itinerary
Fly from the UK to the Kiruna, the northern-most town in Sweden, and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Journey from Kiruna to Abisko National Park on the scenic Arctic Circle Train bound for Narvik, Norway. Travel just half of the rail route, alighting in Abisko National Park for a two-night stay in the world's top destination for aurora hunting. Tonight, bundle up and take the chair-lift to Aurora Sky Station to enjoy an exclusive 3-course Nordic inspired dinner while you wait for the northern lights to appear. (B,L,D)
Enjoy the morning and afternoon free so you can explore Abikso National Park on your own or book one of the exciting optional excursions in the area. After, head out on a guided hike to search for the northern lights. Have your camera ready for sudden bursts of coloured light dancing in the sky. Finish the evening in front of a warm fire. (B,L)
Today is at your leisure until you board the Arctic Circle Train back to Kiruna for your final night's stay at Camp Ripan. Consider adding a visit to the hotel's spectacular Aurora Spa to experience a traditional sauna ritual. (B)
