This exciting Superjeep tour takes in the classic sights you should see on an Iceland holiday, known as the Golden Circle, with the opportunity to enjoy an optional seasonal one hour activity along the way. Higlights include Gullfoss
Waterfall and the geothermal area in Haukadalur where you can see geysers erupt. Strokkur is one of the largest and most powerful geysers and erupts almost every ten minutes.
A stop is made for lunch (optional) giving you the opportunity to walk around the bubbling mud pools and exploding geysers. Visit Nesjavellir, a high temperature geothermal area on our way to Thingvellir National Park where ‘The Althing’ parliament was founded over 1000 years ago.
This tour departs year-round daily at 8.30am.
Optional activities: Snowmobiling can be added to this excursion.
Regent Recommends:
Due to the nature of off-road excursions and Iceland's rugged terrain, we advise you to walk carefully in areas that could be icy or slippery underfoot. A good pair of hiking boots is recommended for this excursion, and plenty of warm, waterproof clothing.
