Dog Sledding Tour

Experience the amazing teamwork between man and dog as you mush your way through the Arctic wilderness. Enjoy the sensation of gliding over the snow, surrounded by silence and the fantastic local landscape. The dog yards are located about 12 kilometres from Longyearbyen.

There you will be given an introduction to the ‘mushing’ techniques and help harness the dogs before setting out to explore the local valleys. You will drive in pairs and each will have the chance to drive the dogs, while the other enjoys the landscape from the sled.
