Nivunki Village

Tucked away on the serene shores of Lake Nivunkijärvi in the heart of Finnish Lapland, Nivunki Village is a brand-new, adult-only retreat just a 50-minute drive from Kittilä Airport. The property features 20 comfortable Glass Huts (‘Kotas’), each 30 square metres in size, with heated panoramic windows that allow you to admire the Northern Lights from the comfort of your bed. Each hut includes a double bed and a private bathroom with shower. Daytime excursions - ranging from husky safaris and reindeer rides to snowmobiling and snowshoeing - are offered in small groups of no more than eight guests. After a day of adventure, relax in the panoramic lakeside sauna followed by a bracing Arctic dip, then savour authentic Lappish cuisine and fine wines in a cosy, historic log-built dining room.
