Finally, continue to the glittering Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the sparkling ice shards of Diamond Beach.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Arrive Reykjavík. Transfer and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 2
GOLDEN CIRCLE
Strokkur geyser

Start your adventure along the Golden Circle and experience some of Iceland’s most iconic sights. Explore Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history and dramatic geology. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, home to the original geyser and the ever-active Strokkur, which erupts spectacularly every few minutes. Visit Friðheimar and discover how tomatoes and other crops grow year-round using sustainable geothermal energy. Then head to Gullfoss and take in the sheer power and beauty of its thundering cascades. (B)

DAY 3
JOKULSARLON GLACIER LAGOON & THE DIAMOND BEACH
Crystal Ice Cave

Journey to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where icebergs drift across luminous turquoise waters. Cross over to Diamond Beach and admire glittering ice fragments scattered across the striking black sand*. Continue to Fjallsárlón, a hidden gem just minutes away. Soak in its serene, intimate atmosphere -often compared to Jökulsárlón in its quieter, untouched days. (B)

*Please note that an optional 2.5-3-hour Blue Ice Cave tour is also offered between November and April. The ice cave explorers meet their local guide at the glacier lagoon and will be brought back to the hotel after the ice cave tour, while the rest of the group continues the official tour programme.
