Uncover the highlights of South Korea on our 8-day coach tour with fortnightly departures from Seoul. Visit the capital’s Gyeongbokgung Palace and Namdaemun Market, travel to Gyeongju - known as the ‘museum without walls’ due to its abundance of historical buildings - to explore the 8th century UNESCO World Heritage Site of Seokguram Grotto, discover one of the world’s earliest-known existing observatories, enjoy the beautifully scenic coastal drive to Guryongpo Port and take in the sights, sounds and smells of Busan’s Jagalchi Fish Market, where the ajumas (married women) who work at the waterfront stalls sell huge varieties of locally caught fresh and dried seafood.

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1
ARRIVE SEOUL
ARRIVE SEOUL
Arrive in Seoul and transfer to the hotel for two nights. The rest of the day is free to explore at leisure.
DAY 2

SEOUL
Embark on a half day tour of Seoul visiting the main highlights including Gyeongbok Palace, the National Folk Museum and Seoul Tower which offers a wonderful birds-eye view of the city. After the tour the rest of the day is free to spend at leisure in Seoul. (B)
DAY 3
SEOUL TO DAEGU
SEOUL TO DAEGU
Depart Seoul and transfer to the Korean Folk Village, which is home to traditional 18-19th century houses. Travel to Songnisan National Park and the Beopjusa Temple. Overnight in Daegu. (B)
DAY 4
DAEGU TO GYEONGJU
DAEGU TO GYEONGJU
After breakfast transfer to Gyeongju and on arrival enjoy a tour of the Chomsongdae Astronomic Observatory, Royal Tumuli Park and Bulguksa Temple. Check in to the hotel for two nights. (B)
DAY 5
GYEONGJU
GYEONGJU
Embark on a full day tour of Gyeongju. First visit the Gwaeneung Royal Tomb, Seogguram Grotto and enjoy a beautiful scenic drive along the coastal road to Guryongpo Port. Return to Gyeongju and visit 4-face Buddha and the National Museum. (B)
DAY 6
GYEONGJU TO BUSAN
GYEONGJU TO BUSAN
Depart Gyeongju this morning and drive to the Unmoonsa Temple (Buddhist Nun'sTemple). Continue to Busan and enjoy a city tour. Discover all of the main sights including Busan Tower, Jagalchi Fish Market and Nampodong Street. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)
DAY 7
BUSAN TO SEOUL
BUSAN TO SEOUL
After breakfast transfer back to Seoul. Enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure for any final independent sightseeing. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)
