Welcome to the Lofoten Islands, known for their excellent fishing, midnight sun and small villages off the beaten track.
Thanks to the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, Lofoten has a mild climate. On this slow-paced group tour, you will discover mountains plunging into the sea from hundreds of metres, spectacular fjords, tall mountain peaks and glaciers. Why not extend your stay in Oslo when the tour has finished. Norway's capital is an energetic and modern hub which is easily explored by foot.
Take a stroll along the city's harbour front and past the iconic Opera House or explore one of the many museums or art galleries on offer in the city (the National Museum and the Fram Museum are both excellent options). Vigeland Park, filled with over 200 sculptures, is also well worth a visit on a sunny day.
This group tour operates in conjunction with our local partners and is not exclusive to Regent Holidays.
Please note that the hotels listed in this itinerary are subject to change, and the final hotel details will only be confirmed once your holiday has been confirmed.

Upon arrival into Oslo Airport take the airport train to the city centre and check in to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Oslo is a lovely city, easily explored by foot. Consider taking a stroll through its bustling streets, including Karl Johan shopping street or check out the harbour and the impressive architecture of the Opera House.
